The Father’s Day Challenge winner was me.
This was a pretty fun card to make. It was a bit challenging to find the right pattern for the shirt and making the tie the right size, but the end result was worth it. Some of the voters really liked the shirt idea, so I plan to do more shirt cards for Father’s Day in the future. Let’s see what kind of shirts I can come up with!
Here is also another Father’s Day card that I made. This one I wanted to have more of a comical feel to it. I embossed brown cardstock with a wood texture embossing folder. Then I used the mustache and sentiment stamp from the “Dude” stamp set by Kelly Purkey, and then added some googly eyes. Very quick and simple to make and so cute!
We will still be making our 4th of July card as promised, but it will only be for fun since we’ve both been a bit preoccupied and were unable to make the cards in time for 4th of July. We will make another card for the card challenge, but the theme is still undetermined.
